  I called Basin out to see about getting my gate fixed at my small business. They came out, literally took a glance at it, did nothing and said there was nothing they could do. They MAY have been there for 5-10 minutes. I received a bill from them for a "service charge" in excess of $100. As a business owner myself, I couldn't believe they would even send a bill, none the less actually expected it to get paid. So I explained this to Lisa in A/R, who then notified me it was the service manager who told her it was a service fee and they expected me to pay it. I have no problem paying anyone for services rendered, as I certainly wish to be paid myself, but to actually DO NOTHING and expect to receive payment, well to say the least, I can't wait until the day comes that I can send my customers bills for doing absolutely nothing and people actually pay them. In the meantime, I'll continue to provide a good service and hope for repeat business in return for payment. I would suggest Basin Electric consider doing the same. Scamming people out of money is not acceptable business as far as I am concerned.
