  On 12/24/2017 sometime after lunch my fiancé and I stepped into this store in the Midland Park Mall. An older Hispanic lady with long gray hair greeted us and we let her know we were looking for a pair of earrings with a budget of $100. Her tone automatically changed and as I was looking at some she looked at me and very rudely said “Well, you’re looking at the wrong ones” (I guess I was unknowingly looking at the expensive ones lol) and she took us to the other side of the store. The earrings were for me, however, because I hate feeling pressured into closing a sale we told her they were for my fiancé’s mother. She started criticizing the fact that we only wanted to spend $100 and how she hopes her kids don’t feel that way about her. We had a horrible experience with this woman. We didn’t walk in there to be judged on how much we wanted to spend. We didn’t walk in there for her opinion. We walked in there for some earrings. We ended up going to Zales in the same mall. We were treated with so much kindness, got approved for a credit card and made a purchase of almost $1000 when we had only planned to spend $100. It goes to show that Customer Service skills mean everything in this kind of business. I hope she improves such skills or that she finds another job. Thanks for the horrible experience ma’am.
